Poche pianiste vantano un tocco così luminoso, lieve eppure tagliente. Ideale per padroneggiare il registro pianistico acuto come lo vuole Liszt (e Chopin, altro suo autore elettivo), di cui sa musicalmente indirizzare anche forza torrenziale e gusto per la complessità tematica. Definita dal quotidiano olandese Het Parool “il miracolo della tastiera”, ANNA KRAVTCHENKO si impone nel panorama del pianismo internazionale dopo aver vinto nel 1992, a soli 16 anni, il primo premio all’ unanimità al prestigioso Concorso Internazionale “Ferruccio Busoni”.

Nel corso della sua carriera ha suonato per le maggiori istituzioni musicali europee come: la Philarmonie di Berlino, la Goldener Saal del Musikverein di Vienna, il Concertgebouw di Amsterdam nella “Meesterpianisten serie”, la Tonhalle di Zurigo, la Sala Verdi di Milano per le “Serate musicali”, la Herkulessaal di Monaco di Baviera, il Ruhr Klavier-Festival, la Salle Gaveau di Parigi, il Festival La Roque D’Antheron, la Wigmore Hall di Londra, la Victoria Hall di Ginevra, il Festival “Piano Aux Jacobins” di Tolosa, il Festival di Bergen, il Festival di Brescia e Bergamo, per citarne alcuni. Si è esibita, inoltre, in Giappone, in Sud Africa, negli Stati Uniti ed in Canada.

Ha suonato con la BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, la Swedish Radio Symphony, la Baltimora Symphony Orchestra, l’Orchestra da Camera della Radio Bavarese, l’Orchestra da Camera di Losanna, la Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, la Residentie Orchestra, la Essen Philharmonic, la London Royal Philharmonic, la Baltimora Symphony Orchestra, la English Chamber Orchestra, la Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, la Israel Chamber Orchestra, l’Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, ecc.

Nel 2006 ha registrato un cd per la DECCA Records, con un programma interamente dedicato a Chopin. Nello stesso anno Anna Kravtchenco ha vinto negli USA l’International Web Concert Hall Competition.

Il suo ultimo CD per la DECCA dedicato a Liszt è stato recensito con cinque stelle ed ha ricevuto l’assegnazione del titolo “Cd del mese” sulle principali riviste italiane comprese Amadeus, Classic Voice, Suonare News e Musica.

Anna Kravtchenko, dopo essere stata docente per ben 15 anni presso l’Accademia Pianistica di Imola, dal 2013 è docente di pianoforte presso il Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana a Lugano.

Ha studiato all’Accademia di Imola dove era stata amessa “Ad Honorem”.

Anna Kravtchenko has distinguished herself on the international piano scene after winning unanimously the first prize at the prestigious “Ferruccio Busoni” International Piano Competition in 1992 at only 16 years old.  Harold Schoenberg, one of the most autorithative musical critics and journalists of the New York Times, wrote about her: ”Her radiant sound and poetical interpretations could sometimes reduce audiences to tears“.

Anna Kravtchenko has played in the most important halls and worldwide events such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Great Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw for the “Meesterpianisten serie”, at the Tonhalle in Zurich, at the “La Roque D’Antheron Festival”, for the Brescia and Bergamo Festival, in the Sala Verdi of Milan for “Serate musicali”, in the Herkulessaal in Munich, for the Ruhr Piano Festival, in the Salle Gaveau in Paris, Wigmore Hall in London, in the Victoria Hall Geneva, for the “Piano Aux Jacobins” Festival in Toulouse, for the Bergen Festival, etc. She has also toured Japan, South Africa, the United States and Canada.

Born in 1976, Anna Kravtchenko began studying piano at the age of five. She studied with Maestro Leonid Margarius at the International Piano Academy of Imola, where she was admitted “Ad Honorem”.
